Welcome to the founding chapter of Geeky Guys & Gals 4 God! Started right here in San Diego in 2012, we've been bridging the gap between faith and fandom for over a decade.
As the birthplace of Comic-Con and a hub for geek culture, San Diego provides the perfect backdrop for our unique ministry. We believe that being a geek and a Christian isn't just compatible, it's powerful!
Our chapter leads the way in convention outreach, creative ministry, and building authentic community among Christian geeks throughout Southern California.

Our flagship event! We maintain an annual presence at SDCC, connecting with thousands of fellow geeks and sharing the love of Christ in the heart of pop culture's biggest gathering.

Dive deep into Scripture through the lens of your favorite fandoms! We explore biblical themes using superhero metaphors, sci-fi parables, and epic fantasy analogies.

Using cosplay to sponsor and/or support local churches, non-profit organizations and law enforcement events (including epic Star Wars and Halloween parties and annual Shop with a Copy for San Diego and Imperial Counties).

We attend the biggest blockbuster movies together at local movie theaters. In 2026, these movies will include: the Mandalorian and Grogu, Spiderman: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday.
